### Abstract

*The objective of the research is to find out the effect of feedback and locus of control towards the students’ ability in managing micro instruction. The method of the research is 2 x 2 factorial design which was conducted at FKIP Muhammadiyah Metro University with n = 48 students using random sampling technique.*

*The result of this research are: (1) There is a significant difference of the students’ ability in managing micro instruction between those who are given immediate feedback and those who are given delayed feedback in micro instruction. The ability of the students who are given immediate feedback in manging micro instruction is higher than those who are given delayed feedback; (2) There is not any significant difference on the students’ ability in managing micro instruction between those who have internal locus of control and those who have external locus of control in micro instruction; (3) For the students who have internal locus of control, it was found that the students’ ability in managing micro instruction with immediate feedback is higher than those with delayed feedback; (4) For the students who have external locus of control, it was found that the students’ ability in managing micro instruction with delayed feedback is higher than those with immediate feedback; (5) There is an influence of interaction between giving feedback and locus of control on the students’ ability in managing micro instruction at FKIP Muhammadiyah University of Metro. *

*It can be concluded that **feedback** and **locus of control affect the **students’ ability in managing micro instruction. Based on the students internal condition, it implies that if the management of micro instruction with feedback is well organized, the students’ ability in managing the instruction will increase.*
